Overview - Description of our Private Charters:
Elegance at Sea offers private yacht charters that can be custom tailored to your needs and desires. Our typical private charters consist of 1/2 Day or Full Day Sails, Sunset Sails, Multiple Days, Weeks etc. Each private charter includes a licensed and experienced captain plus a crew member.
Additional crew may be required for trips with more than 10 pax., longer voyages, or other reasons. Included in trips under 8 hrs., are snacks and soft drinks. Beer, wine and liquor are available upon pre-request Variety of food menus as well as our 'Luxury Champagne and Caviar Fantasy' optional services are available for pre-booking. Sailing, snorkeling, destinations etc. may be selected by the captain or designed by the passenger, subject to conditions. Local and long distance cruising is available. Choose a standard trip or customize your own.
What Type Of Private Charters Do We Offer?
Half and Full Day Private Sailing Cruises:
Your sailing adventure begins from the Seaport Marina, located in the heart of town. Our trips are custom tailored to your desires and safety. Sailing is adjusted to your liking, and of course conditions. Adventurous or relaxed.
We are your own private yacht and crew (Captain & Mate) for the duration of the voyage. The only limits are legal, safety, security and sea conditions. Our attentive and experienced captain and crew will design a trip for you or assist you in designing one of your own. Sail, snorkel, dive, fish, sightsee, sunbathe, relax, experience and learn or improve your sailing, whatever would make your trip enjoyable.
Complimentary snacks and refreshments are served along with any other drinks and food that you have requested. Snorkel gear is provided at no cost. Our captain and crew will happily answer any questions that you have about Aruba as well as sailing and our beautiful sea.
Our most popular excursion, sails along the beautiful southwestern coast of Aruba towards the lighthouse. We stop at popular snorkel, swimming and/or dive sites depending upon time and your desires. When you return to the boat after your swim or snorkel, our attentive crew will prepare drinks and snacks. If you requested lunch, we will serve it shortly thereafter while moored off the coast in a picturesque setting.
Another popular trip sails you east along the southern coast of Aruba to a local more secluded snorkel or beach destination. As few tourists are aware of this area, it is still perhaps the nicest snorkel spot on Aruba.
Some people prefer to just sail, sail, sail! We can set sail in either direction along the coast or head south towards Venezuela. You can sail with our assistance, we can sail with yours or we can sail and you relax and enjoy. We are happy to teach or discuss with you aspects of sailing, from the bare basics to navigation and advanced sail techniques. Think of us as your private yacht and crew!
Sunset Sailing Private Cruises:
Your sunset sail cruise departs from the Seaport Marina late afternoon for a three (3) hour sail along the southwestern coast of Aruba. We leave the harbor for a relaxing sail between the setting sun and Aruba's coast. As the sun sets to our west, Aruba will come to life to our east. The various 'happy hour' bands and festivities of the hotels in the background. You will enjoy one of the most romantic experiences in Aruba. Of course our captain and crew will be there to serve you or to just let you alone to relax and enjoy the ride. Refreshments are served for your enjoyment. Perhaps you wish to enjoy champagne and caviar as you watch our beautiful setting sun!

For your culinary pleasure, we have made arrangements with select local restaurants who have prepared menus specifically for us. Our crew will complete the preparation onboard and serve you. You may choose from a wide variety of menus ranging from sandwiches, cold cuts, to our basic or deluxe onboard barbecue to Italian, German, Mexican, Seafood, French, Aruban or Caribbean cuisine.
One popular option is our Onboard Barbecue. Imagine as you return to the boat after a swim, snorkel or dinghy adventure, you smell scrumptious barbecue being preparing for lunch or dinner. After a cool drink and a brief rest, you will enjoy a leisurely meal, from the freshest ingredients, skillfully prepared by our crew. Please click here for menus and pricing details.
What's Included?
Private Yacht Charters: includes boat, captain, crew, refreshments, snacks and towels. Not included are tips*, and 'options' such as meals and liquor. Guests may bring their own or we will provide whatever they like. Guests should contact us to make arrangements. Prices will vary according to your choices.

Can I get Extra Time?
Extra Time is available. Charters may be extended provided that it does not interfere with another booking. The costs are: $165 per hour if pre booked or $185 per hour mid cruise. Extra non sailing time at the dock is available for $85 per hour. This is for guests that wish to have their meals served after the cruise or who would like to just relax onboard after the trip. If a guest would like to use the boat as their 'home base' while in town, they can have the boat accessible to them from 7pm to 2am at a flat fee of $250.
Information for Guests - What do I need to do?
Be at boat 15 minutes before departure.
Departure times are posted on rate sheet, guest should call one day in advance to reconfirm. Elegance at Sea: 5866938.
Vessel departs from Seaport Marina pier behind the "Don Carlos Italian Restaurant", located directly across from the Sonesta Hotel and the Crystal Casino. Walk behind the restaurant on the dock and you will find vessel "Vida Libre" with green sail covers in the 5th slip on left side.
If guests wish to snorkel, you must give us your shoe sizes prior to departure and we will provide gear (or bring your own). Please fill out the snorkel form and call or fax it to us.
We ask guests to please wear boat shoes, sneakers, any soft sole white bottom shoes
or sail barefoot (if possible).
